Take a Walk in the Park

W.C. Johnson Park is one of Collierville’s most beautiful parks. It’s the perfect place to relax on a sunny day.

One of my favorite hobbies is to take pictures of the local flora and fauna. So, I often take pictures of the ducks and deer (when I can catch them) lurking around the park.

The central lake brings about a sense of tranquility that is hard to find in some places. Often times I just like to sit by the edge and retreat into my own world. Hearing the sounds of the animals and feeling a soft breeze flowing through my hair takes away all of my stresses. I often go by myself when I just need to get away from everything.

If you like to fish, you also have that option at the lake. I’ve heard that there are a good variety of fish there. I don’t know personally, seeing as how I don’t fish myself.

All in all, W.C. Johnson Park is a great place for you, your friends, your partners, and your pets to relax. Being Collierville residents,  you should definitely check it out.
