Is Texting Your Life?

Did you know there are reports that say this time last year a 110 billion text were sent. That’s billion, not million. Compare that with 2007 when 48 billion were sent in December. I can only imagine what it will be like when they look at this month’s numbers.

They say texting is more prevalent in teenagers and I can see that, but I don’t think the age is as important as the time. I work with people who text while at work, so I think it’s just about convenience.  I have to admit that I text ALL THE TIME.  I have unlimited texting, but I did not get unlimited minutes.

What do you think? How many texts do you send?

  1. About 15-20 texts a month.

On what scale were those numbers pulled from? Is that global or US only?

The article says they were pulled from the US Census Bureau. And you only text 15-20 times a month?! Wow? I think my number is 15-20 every 5 minutes!
